Porsche to purchase from the 914,924, 944, 968 or 928 which will be less maintance?

I am moving to Texas from Boston and never owned a car -i always into cars, all types and the speed really does not matter as I plan not to be racing .. get up and got to 75 is great. The real issue to me its how it looks and how i enjoy driving it. I plan to drive it daily for work and admit, I am not technically challenged but does not mean I could not be on. The 914 I remember as a kid and thought it was fun, yes its not a REAL Porsche ( please I don't mean to offend but I never been a 911 fan ) but it does not matter its cute and looks like every time I drive it will be fun. Rust is a problem thou. The 924 looks like its fun and could use as an everyday car just like the 944. Now does the 924 and 944 have the same maintenance issues Mb Star C4? I read about how the timing belts and water pumps need to be repaired but let face its a exotic German car hence there is a cost. I have sold high end watches and own a few and I feel its the same if you want something you don't need to maintain or take of then buy a TImex, not a Omega, Brietling ect... The 968 is rarer and comes in a convertible too but has the front end similiar to the 928 which i love ..So the 928 to me always was so unlike anything Porsche has done since and to me was the ultimate model but read and know the engine being larger and more electrical problems can be a headache. .Please advise
