Protective Film on front portion of rear fenders?
Protective Film on front portion of rear fenders?
I'm working on a 1994 Porsche 964 Turbo 3.6 Here's a picture of the car, http://www.autogeekonline.net/galler...ighting007.jpg Here's a picture of the protective film... http://www.autogeekonline.net/galler...ectiveFilm.jpg I've buffed this car out once, then it was wrecked and now I have it back to re-polish the paint and I'm wondering if anyone knows of any "known" product that can be used on the protective plastic film on the front of the rear fenders to improve its gloss and clarity. I've tried some very fine finishing polishes and plastic polishes by hand and machine and so far I don't see any dramatic improvement. Anyone have any first hand experience with these films? Thanks, Mike |
If the film is scratched and pitted, it needs to be replaced. They are wear items.
