02 Boxster won't shift into top gears

I have an 02 Boxster that won't shift into the top gears (1st, 3rd, or 5th). It has no trouble shifting into the other gears and it seems to be an intermittent problem. Anyone have any idea what could be wrong? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Sounds like a bad shift linkage or cable.

Yeah,check shift linkage or cable.problem may be from there
