2003 Boxster Tint
 

Does anyone have a pic of a Boxster with tinted windows? I was thinking about getting it done but wanted to see what it looks like first........

Here is a pic of my new 987 S- I just had the 2 side windows tinted and it really helps to cut down on the glare, and looks good, too.

I tinted the front windshield of mine as well which turned out looking absolutely sick. I have a 2001 boxster s (black) and it looks awesome with really dark tint. Unfortunately the cops didn't like it too much and I had to remove it[:@]

It is illegal to tint the front below the small lines/letters onthe side - usually you can go down about 6-9 inches. The reason is that below that line it is breakaway glass - if you have it tinted and slam your head into it the glass may not breakaway.

But they do allow waivers here - a guy I know has his done since his wife has some sort of eye problem - I think of the old Bears QB Jim McMahon who always had to wear sunglasses.

Yep, top can be tinted, not the front... which really sucks , cause it looks SICK. I had 20% in the front. I guess it was best that I removed it, considering it wasn't that easy to see at night. lol
