986 Boxster S + $1000-$2000 = ???

Here's the scenario: You have a 986 Boxster S and 1k in your pocket... Hell, lets make it 2k. What would you do/add/modify to make this the best Boxster you can? Seeing as the handling is already superior to most, I was leaning more towards acceleration enhancement, but still setting some money aside for minor handling upgrades. (if you feel inclined to, don't be hesitant about going slightly over the price limit)

First I would ask myself, what future maintenance might I be looking at that may need attention like brakes, etc. If the car needs nothing in the near future, then I would look at cold air intake (evo), muffler, secondary cat bypass pipes, and chip tuning last.

Hi PorscheDoc, can you teach me or tell me what is "cold air intake" what does it do? Secondary cat bypass pipes?? Chip tuning?? Do a muffler job will make the car go faster or just look cool. Thanks.
