Boxster 2001 Brake Lights not working

HI i have boxster 2 2001 - all brake lights not working suddenly - bulbs replaced and fuse ok.
Any suggestions - could it be the brake switch in which case how should i check and fix

Brake light switch is probably bad. Only takes a few minutes to change and is about 20 bucks. Locate the brown/black switch down by the brake pedal (it has a plunger on it), and twist it 90 degrees then remove it. Pull off the electrical connector and then replace with new.
