Colour Choice

Just wondering if there were any words of advice on colour choice when buying a boxter?

Are there colours that hold value better, show stone chips less due to hardness of the paint, and if there was a particular colour that should not be purchased?

All advice would be gratefully received :)

RE: Colour Choice

I have been wondering the same. I did some research recently and in terms of resale value. Conservative colors (black, white, silver) tend to hold the value better. Some vehicles retain their value better than others simply because of supply and demand.

As I continue to do research, I will let you know what I find out.

Then again, you have to ultimately be happy with the product.

RE: Colour Choice

COLOR: recently purchased an older model boxster which i'm very happy with -- except for the color pallette. it's artic silver w/red leather interior -- surely a classic designed to offend as few as possible. and 6 mos. later, this is the only thing i'd opt to change. think about it, there are more boxsters on the road than one can count -- so it only makes sense to select an ext/int/top color scheme that serves to personalize the vehicle. have a look at all of the colors before settling on the mundane -- there are a number of striking combinations that will surely set the average boxster apart from the others on the road.
