How do you response to "Boxster owner is a poor man Porsche"
 

Hi, guys, I think you must have heard comments about "Boxster is a poor man Porsche"
I would like to know what is your opinion.
I posted aBoxster video on youtube, I have close to 29000 viewing, most of the comments are good, nice comment, but every once in a while, I get a comments like: "Your car sucks, you should get one 911 like the one I have"
Porshce is a Porsche, why?

Forget what others say. I have a boxster and its the best car to drive. In fact all Porsche's are great.
I will be in Oahu / Ko Olina last 2 weeks of September. I will keep my eyes out for you and take a pic.:)

The sad truth is that the boxster is the entry level Porsche. You can buy them used all day long for mid teens now. It will be the next 944 (which in the 80's and 90's was the original "poor mans porsche"), and I would guess that will be followed by the Cayman in 15 years or so. The funny thing is, that new, the cars cost 50-60k, which is more than probably 90% of what other cars cost on the market today.

People will always have their opinions, but you know there are sayings about opinions :) No matter what car you drive, someone is not going to like it. Who cares. Enjoy the car, and forget what people think of it.

Thanks dedes! Well say! Actually, all those negative comments... I don't really care, I am happy everytime I start the engine. I am not born rich, not even close to that, I look at it as one of my proud achievement.
The link that you provide contain a lot of information, I will joint the site later and read more about it.
I do have one comments once: "You must be a hair dresser..... " I just laugh it off. No matter what, I don't think a $65,000 car falls into a "CHEAP" car region.

how about a simple (F U A HOLE). j/k hey i know my boxster is on the bottom of the Porsche food chain. still a great car. people with a hater complex or more dollars than cents arenot really enthusiast personally I have not been told that's a poor mans p. maybe because on track days (tight tracks) I brake later than most hell I sometimes get wave by. And some days I well almost get sucked of the road by a 911 ect its all good.

HEY DONT EVEN TRIP MAN I ALWAYS GET COMPLIMENTS. IT IS A BEGGINERS PORSCHE CAR. BUT I HAVE PEOPLE STILL SAYING WOW A 90K CAR!!! AND IM LIKE SURE YEAH AHA!! ITS A PORSCHE THATS ALL IT MATTERS. ITS STILL IN THE FERRARI LAMBO, MASARATTI CATEGORY. IT A GERMAN EXOTIC CAR. THERES ALWAYS PEOPLE WITH ENVY.

Funny isn't it.. the only people that ever say to me "that's a poor man's Porsche" are the people that:

a - drive a Ford Focus, Mondeo, Vauxhall Astraor such like.
b - have kids, thereforewouldn't fit in a Boxster.
c - can't afford to run a Porsche
d - don't appreciate great cars
e - don't know what the F they are talking about.

You gotta laugh at them really!
