Porsche Boxster "clicking noise"

Hi Guys,

Some help here would be really appreciated.

My car appears to make a slight clicking noise when i turn my steering to the right. Any ideas what this might be??

Also, what is the best method of repairing small scuffs and scratches for a "midnight blue" porsche??

Thanks

Where does the clicking sound like it is coming from?

It depends on how big or small the scratches and scuffs are. Minor scratches can usually be buffed out with some light cutting compound if it isn't through the clear. Anything that has penetrated deeper, will probably need to be repainted.

hi,

it sounds like its coming from the axel/behind the wheels area????

the scratches are minor. who could apply the compound for me???

Thanks

If the clicking is coming from the axle area, then I would assume you have CV joints that are going bad. It could also be a bad wheel bearing, which is fairly common.

any idea how much either of these would cost to repair on a boxster??

Thanks

Bearing is about 100 bucks and 3 hours of labor. Axle is maybe 300 and 2-2.5 hours of labor.
