Just went to get my set of snow tires put on my Cayenne and was told the nice inlaid metal caps had corroded and fused to the metal valve stems so that to get them off it would also ruin my TPMS. Supposedly you are only supposed to use the cheap plastic ones. No mention this could happen anywhere I know of . Anyone else?
