Porsche cayanne reliability?

Hi guys/girls.

My wife and I have been looking at a BMW X3 or an Acura RDX recently, and my Uncle came across an '04 Cayanne at an auction.

I'm familiar with the older porches, there's a 928 and a 944 in the family, but what about the newer models for reliability? I want to spoil my wife this year, and we found this '04 with 45K for a reasonably amount.

It would be her daily driver, and we live in Canada, so we see a ton of snow during the winter, but also some nice driving oprotunities in the summer!

Any unbiased help would be really appreciated. We've drive quite a few Acuras, how would the cayanne compare on average in terms of reliability? I do a lot of maintenance myself, and help campain a 944 turbo race car, so I'm familiar with the older stuff at least.

Thanks,

Ryan

Thanks for the reply.

We were also looking at an X3 or an older MDX. I'm just so bloody bored with Honda/Acura products. Wife is the same way.

We'll see.

Ryan
