Removing Turbo Transmission / NY Lemon Law

Greetings. I am new to the forum but I see from perusing the posts that many peopel here are a lot more knowledgable than the mechanics I've spoken to about the following issue.

Last week I bought a 2005 Cayenne Turbo and noticed it leaking transmission fluid. (I brought it to my mechanic before purchasing to check for leaks and he didn't see any.) I can do one of two things.

A) Opt to keep the car
B) Opt to exercise my rights within the NY lemon law and either return the car for a refund or give the dealer the oppurtunity to fix the problem.

Issues:
A) If I do fix this the local Porsche dealership told me that to install teh $20 seal would cost $2500 to remove the transmissiona nd get that seal in. I called my local mechanic and he told me that he wouldn't touch a Turbo transmission due to teh complexity and delicate-ness of it. He also said he knows noone he'd feel comfortable suggesting.

B) If I do bring it back to the dealer under the NY Lemon Law does anybody here know if the dealer can bring it to any hole-in-the-wall place that will do it cheap for him and even though he'll return my car with the leak fixed maybe they did irreversable damage to the car?

So if anybody has any suggestions OR places in the NYC metropolitan area that can give me a fair price that would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Why would a dealer take it to another shop where they would have to pay thousands of dollars to do the work, versus just paying their tech his hourly wages to do the job, which wouldn't be more than $300-500. That is just foolish.
