Buying a CaymanS, what discount should I get?
 

Hi, I am considering to buy myself a Cayman S. What discount should I get from the dealer when paying cash? Anyone has some experience made?

Typically Porsche dealers don't give discounts even for cash from what I have seen. It all depends on the dealer though I suppose.

I would expect you'd get no discount worth mentioning.

If you are able to get a discount, let me know, but I don't think they give discount unless you buy a use car, then it is not a discount, it becomes a bargin game.

Not much of one at all. I'm picking mine up this afternoon, I'm psyched! I managed to get a small one because the car has tons of accesories and they haven't been able to move it. It's exactly what I've been looking for, lucky find. I'll post a pic once I pick it up if anyone might be interested.

Oh man this Cayman S is HOT!!! Haven't taken any pics yet, having too much fun! I'll try and take some pics once I get off this high.

Hi Nils, While I didn't look at the cayman S, I did purchase a new 2007 Targa 4. I pick it up on monday. The dealer took $12,400 off sticker which to me, seemed like a great deal. He had 2 2007 leftovers and really wanted to move them.. Good luck..

Wow you stole that car i know there is no way we would ever give you 12k off on a 997 body 911 wouldnt happen i cant even keep them in stock. now a cayman i have a few so we are willing to work with price. Porsche dealerships typically unless moving year end inventory dont offer large if any discount. Some places in the country do however discount more than others.
