1981 Porsche Turbo

I have owned since new a 1981 Porsche Turbo (exterior red, interior black). The car is as it was when brought over by ship in 1981 except for air box for EPA. It has never been in an accident, and except for a cracking windshield (which began a couple a years after owning the car) and a very few front chips from road use, the car is in excellent body and mechanical condition (a new turbo was put on sometime ago and major engine work and transmission work to keep things fresh was completed- I have records going back 25 years). I used to time trial it and have race seat belts in it, but never raced wheel to wheel or abuse in any way. In 1981 the US did not import turbos, so this was rare.It has about 75.000 kilometers on the odometer (43,000 miles)and the only reason I am selling it is I now own several other cars ranging from a Bentley to Ferrari 430 and neither drive nor have room for the car anymore. It is presently stored in an underground parking area (fenced off) in San Diego. I drive it irregularly just to maintain the battery and run mechanicals. A outstanding example of the year.

I will entertain offers and it will ultimately go to the highest bidder. Open to suggestions.

Thank you.

I'd say it's probably worth $14-15K based on what you're saying

Did not realize it is worth so little. Considering you cannot by a Yaroz or KIA for that, it is simply too fast and too much fun to sell for that. It is worth more to pay $100 a month to store it and take it out once in awhile.

However, I sincrely appreciate you responding and giving me and idea of what its worth.

Thank you
