OK, my ac doesn't work at all, this I have no problem with! I would like to fully remove to entire unit. Will this mess anything else up, and what would be the best way to go about doing this?

 

It will not mess up anything. To do it though, you will need an A/C delete bracket and shorter belt. You can not do it otherwise. Also called a european alternator mount. It lowers the alternator down where the AC was so the belt can be tensioned using the tensioning rod. You can remove the hardlines in the engine bay by disconnecting at the firewall, and cutting them in various places with a dremel to get them out of the engine bay.
