Default What is the biggest size for wheels on 997 Turbo?

Hey guys,

I'm new on here and I just bought a 2007 997 Turbo Cabrio (White/Black). I want to buy some nice 19" HRE wheels for it. I want to go very wide in the front and the rear with a small offset so as to get a deep dish, but I dont want to run spacers, have rubbing issues, have to roll fenders, mess up the AWD system, etc. I just want something wider than stock (hopefully run a 305+ mm tire on it) to give it a nice look with the deep dish. What size 19" do you recommend for front and rear and what offsets? I understand going too wide in the rear vs. the front can mess up the AWD system. I run into the same problem with my AWD VW Golf R32. Any help appreciated!

Thanks,

Navid

You can run 245's and 305's without a problem. The PSM system on the 997 is VERY sensitive, and does not like changes in tire sizes. We run 245's and 305's on 19" rims without a problem. You need to stay within a >4% rolling ratio between the front and rear.
