Wheel touch-up paint needed

Wheel touch-up paint needed
Porsche wheel touch-up is not available. I have a 2001 Boxster with 18" Turbo style wheels that have a few minor mars/nicks.
Has anyone found a brush-on paint that would work well on these??? I would guess that most Porsche wheels are painted with the same silver color.
Thanks, Bob

RE: Wheel touch-up paint needed
Hi
I'm in the UK. However I have effected good repairs using "Hammerite Smooth Silver". However first ensure loose paint from impact is removed and ensure area is clean and smooth with a litle sanding. Then applycoat(s) of grey body primer first to build up the depth before finishing with the Hammerite. Use masking tape etc to avoid paint on the tyres. After all is dry a coat of Autoglym Tyre Dressing on the rubber ensures you get a prtective coating on the part of the rim that tucks behind the tyre to prevent any corrosion starting where you cant get paint.Give it a go. Done well it pasts muster from a close quick look. (And its better than getting winter salt etc getting under the brocken paint surface!).
Thanks Big Bob
