944 looking for turbo
Duudde, you haven't seen the turbo-kits for the 944? Real easy to install, cheap, only a couple hundred bucks. Check on ebay, they have these electric superchargers that's even cheaper, like $50. Much more modern and electric too!
I cant beleive I would see anyone on a porsche forum talking about electric superchargers. If anyone ever bought one they are completely retarted. Do you have any idea how much air a turbo or real supercharger moves. Much more than any electric fan would ever do. like thousands of times more. these electric superchargers accually just make you loose power because they are making a blockage in the intake .
just think of this.. you engine sucks in a huge about of air expesially under higher rpms. Just imagine if being a 150hp shop vac. now by sticking a little 12 volt fan in the intake tube of that vaccum is that going to litterally force air into it until there is accually poundage of air..no way its just doing to block some of the suction that the engine itself is producing... These electric superchargers are accually renamed and redesigned boat motor air venting fans
