Default 996 cylinder problem

my 1998 996 is not firing on passenger side three cylinders and exhaust is heating to extreme temp. Have heard it might be an airflow meter problem, any views

I concur with using the handbrake when taking off on a hill. This is why the lever is situated immediately at your right hand. Remember - practice makes perfect.

Have owned 911s for over 35 years. Current daily driver is 2010 (997) Carrera S. Nothing else compares to Porsche. Ferrari, perhaps, but impractical to drive them daily to and from work in typical urban traffic. You can do that with a Porsche, without reliability issues.
