Anyone have info on when the 911 998 will be launched ?

 

Well, I will get another Carrera, probably in 2010, but what I would dearly love if it would be a hybrid: imagine a 2.5 flat-four direct injection with around 250 HP and 200 ft lbs torque, and one or two electric motors giving a net 60 HP (but, being electric, 220 more ft lbs of torque off the line), and regenerative braking: 0-60 in 4 seconds and about 30 mpg around town: green and mean. My kinda car.

 

The new redesign is expected to pick up a few miles per gallon along with the horse power bump. I havent even heard a whisper of them going hybrid with any line other than the cayenne but you may see some mile per gallon increases coming out of stuttgart.
