camcover gasket leaking

Default camcover gasket leaking

I have a 1986 na 944, camcover is leaking oil. how many gaskets are involed in replacing the camcover gasket,any tips or procedure for this jobon replacing the gasket would be appreciated.

You should reseal the entire cambox while you have it off. You will need the rear hippo gasket (rear cam cover), main cam cover gasket, front o ring, front spacer ring, front mylar seal, front wiper seal, and a new cheesehead bolt. Probably about $50-60 in gaskets. Also, if you haven't done your timing belt recently, now would be the time, since you will have it all apart.
