Do you get sick of towel flurd munging up your top; particularly dark ones? Those roller lint removers do the job I suspect. Cheaper and just as effective if not quicker is a big roll of cheapass clear packing tape which you just stick row after row of on the top and then peel off.

Try using a vacuum cleaner at a car wash/gas station. Also, once a year I like to spray 3M scotch guard on my top for added protection and less fluff sticks to it. Lastly, I don't know if Porsche dealers sell a convertible top cleaner, but the Mercedes Parts dept.s sell a pretty good conv. top cleaner.
