Default engine id help

Ineed a little help.I helped clean out an old barn my grandfather bought and found 4 boxes full of porsche parts and 1 engine. Problem isI have no idea which engine it is. The thingsI do know is:
1. it's studed (which would lead me to belive its turbocharged but I dont know if the engine was turboed from factory or from previous owner)
2. fuel injected

Can anyone help point me in the right direction to id this engine?

It is a 944 series engine of some sort. If you can send me a picture of it, I can identify it. Also, down at the base of the black oil filler neck, there should be some case numbers like M44.50 or M44.51 or M44.07, etc
