Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV)
It does make a difference in: a) tight turns, where the car will feel more neutral in cornering because the uneven torque vectoring is being used to "push" or rate the car, and b) on some high-speed (boneheaded) manuveurs where the mishandling of the car is not enought to evoke the stability control but torque vectoring contributes to enhanced stability.
You have to be driving on very tight turns or otherwise using quite a bit of power before there is really any difference in actual performance, though. My determination was that if I was driving fast enough for it to make a big difference, then I was driving too fast.
