What was the last year Porsche made a 911 targa?

 

2008, and counting. But the last year for the targa with the removable cloth top was 1993. They now use a sliding glass roof.

 

And the later cars are great machines, and very practical if you are a golfer say!

I have a 2007 Targa 4 and I love it.. I was told about 1700+ were made worldwide and about half are in the US.. I have actually gotten a nice tan from driving with the roof open.. And I have a feature (besides the opening roof) that no other model has.. I have a rear window that opens like a hatchback.. makes putting stuff in the rear very easy..
