Used Porsche Advice
I am thinking about rewarding myself for a recent career milestone and have always wanted to own a Porsche. I do not have the money for a new one. But I was shocked to find that some very low millage late model Porsches can be had in the 30 to 40K range. I cannot go over 40K.
The question is am I better off buying an older 911 or going for a Boxster S or Cayman? I have had some people tell me that a Boxster because its mid engined, handles better than a 911 and is a better deal for the money. I think of the three the Cayman is the best looking car. But I wonder if it is worth the extra money over a Boxster S for not that much better performance.
So, if those on this forum had 20 to 40K to spend on a used late model Porsche, what would it be? Be very curious to hear if there is a consensus.
