Thanks to Porsche Doc I know how to put in and take out the insturment cluster, but was wondering if anyone would know if a 2001 turbo cluster would work in my 99 c2? My buddy has one from his old911 that he wrecked 2 years ago. Also the dealer can set my mileage to the correct number in the service shop, right? From what I haveread 98-01 are compatiable, which seems weird due to the 98-99 911 make over? Any advice would be appreciated>

No it won't work, as the readings are different etc. It also uses an electronic oil gauge etc.
