2002 boxster S headlight switch

Default 2002 boxster S headlight switch
HI my switch to turn on the headlight, when i turn it the dashboard light doesnt go on. But when i play with it a little, usually by putting some pressure by pushing it in and then turning the switch back and forth the dashboard light does go on. ANy recommendations . thanks
