need help my husband just got me a 99 porsche 911 carrera but when i put the key in the hole that he left for me the key won't turn. did he leave me the wrong key? or am i the new owner of a 4000lbs. paper weight?
my husband said it worked fine for him..... help

 

The steering wheel might be locked. Try turning the wheel as you try to turn the key.

 

i would say to try faded_ser's advice of truning the searing wheel or i would also say check the key and if not than you do have a piece of papper weight ... i'm sorry but i can say to check the key and see if its inserdet right. also maby check the gear and also press the break

 

you an also check the key by seeing if it works in the drivers side door, if it opens up the door it is the right key and you just have 2 worry about unlocking the steering wheel. You might have 2 use a little arm power while turning the wheel and the key at the same time.
