911 - Overheated Central Control Box 964 C4
Recently I noted that the central controlunit in my 964 is overheating.
It's quit normal that it gets a little warm - but this one is [:@] HOT -
If it wasn't mounted upsidedown underneat the dashboard you could fry an egg on it ....
Used the Bosch 'Hammer' to eliminate 'failing' objects .... finding myself changing out the lambda-sonde ...
It hasn't changed [>:]
When I'm having the windows closed and the roof shut, the airco off - then it'll take a bit longer to heat up (but it still does).
When I'm either running the AC or having the top down .... it starts 'cooking' within half an hour or so (this is when driving offcourse).
Anyone familiar with this problem ?
Thanks in advance
Olaf
