Does anyone know what the best speakers are available that will fit in the doors of an88' 944 turbo? have tried a couple but don't work. polk db 4x6 [tweeter out to much]. Would prefer the absolute best available w/o modification to the original configuration....Thanks

 

Try Harmon Kardon Infinity. They will cross reference and tell you what will fit your car.

Not sure what might be different about a turbo and N/A, but I found the best fit was Alpine SPS 470s. (might have been 460s) This model is about 2 years old, but they were thin enough to fit to factory space with the factory grills and sounded great. I looked long and hard and could only find these to fit the thin opening. Good luck.
