[:@]Here goes... My 95 968 was out of commission for a couple of weeks due to the compressor. I finally got it all put back together and drove it... flawless. An hour or two later, I popped the hood and made sure everything was OK. I noticed the engine was a bit dirty and decided to do a quick degreasing on it. I sprayed some cleaner on it, let it set for a couple minutes and hosed it off. After sopping up what water I could I admired the clean engine and got in to fire it up. It started but ran rough. I put it into gear and it ran worse... reverse was worse yet. I started pulling plug wires, dist cap, vacuum lines and every connector I could find to ensure they were dry. I drove it around for a while to no avail. 36 hours later... same thing but now it will not go into 4th gear (Auto trans). I've pulled my head out of my butt so I won't degrease again, but I became disoriented during my cranial-rectal inversion and need help getting my baby healthy again. Your help would soooo appreciated!!!

 

I figured it out... I took the plug wires out for the second time and actually noticed water around one of the spark plugs this time. Soaked up the water and my baby is back!!!
