Default 993 Carrera 2 Tiptronic - Alarm Problem

I have a 993 with just the standard factory fit alarm system. This goes off intermittently, I have chacked all the wiring contacts etc and so has a Porsche dealer even swapped the 'black box' under the passenger seat. Sometimes it goes for days/weeks with no trouble and other times it will not stop. I'd be happy just to disable it. Any ideas please?

i am having a similar problem with my 944. i comes equipped with a factory alarm and i would really just like to know how to bypass the ignition kill switch. or remove the alarm system entirely.
my cars been stuck in the same spot for a week now with no progress, i had to cut the horn to make it shut up, maybe that has caused some complications, some experienced help with my issue would be greatly appreciated

What year is the 944? I can tell you how to bypass the early ones by removing the alarm box and installing some jumper wires.
