How do you change headlamp bulb on 996 - appears to be a completely sealed unit are there hidden fixings? and what bulb do I need (H1 ??) it doesn't have xenons. thanks

 

There is an allen tool in your toolkit. Pull the carpet on the inside wall of the trunk (on the side you are replacing, and you will see a rubber ****. Pull the **** out of the hole. Insert your allen tool. Turn it until the headlight pops out. Pull out the headlight, pop off the back cover, replace the bulb. Installation is opposite of reverse.
