Default BRAKES DROPPED TO FLOOR

OK I know there have been several posts regarding this incident but thought I'd attempt to get fresh insights. Not even a narly concern with 911 brakes until Friday...on Interstate veering to the off ramp and went to depress brakes ....their to the floor but braking enough to control the car to a reasonable stop. Sat there and they immediatley pumped back to normal and held. SInce then has not occurred again....tends to make one a little cautious whether the full brake
is there when you need it quick. Suggestions advise.....heard possible air in lines or flaky
master cyclinder....happening only once seems awfully sporadic but a sign of something..
THANKS

You can start by bleeding your brakes and making sure there are no leaks anywhere in the system. But I have a feeling that unless there is a leak, there shouldn't be any air that has gotten into the system, thus leaving you with a master cylinder that is on it's way out.
