I just purchased a used 2006 9110 and I cannot get the home link to reset or activate any ideas?

 

What procedure are you following?

If you are following the procedure in the book and it is still not working, I have seen one other time where the module was not activated properly when the car was delivered to the 1st owner. If they never used it, they would never know it didn't work. It took a dealer vehicle turnover procedure to activate the module.

I do know that most people have had to do the initial programming with the nose of the car as close to the garage door opener as possible. If you try and do it from outside the garage on the intial programming, it probably will not reach.
