i have a 2002 boxster remote key doesnt open/close door but starts key no problem, just recently happended. changed battery in remote no luck

 

Sounds like it lost it's programming. Take it and the car to the dealer and they will reprogram it.

It is very random why this occurs. Sometimes after dropping the key, sometimes just out of the blue.

thanks DOC, sorry im kinda new to the forum, didn't even realize i posted it that many times. do you know approx. how much the dealer will charge to program it? thanks
