Removal of radio when removal keys won't work?
Hi
Names Rob and I'm new to forum.
Have a 2000 Boxter S 3.2
Radio not working since reconnection of new battery. Assumming fuse blown behind radio due to incorrect replacement of battery terminals may have caused short.
Problem: Radio removal keys not working as I suspect previous owner tried to remove radio unsuccessfully damaging retaining clips. Keys simply have nothing to 'bite' onto. Definately using correct keys.
Any suggestions? Garage have said it will require entire facia to be removed to access back of radio at considerable cost. Is this something easy to do myself and where would I start?
Cheers
Rob
