The only thing I love more than this car is my Girfriend, and after 8 years of being toghether I think it's time I proposed to her. I need to sell my porsche to finance the engagement ring and other related expenses. I've had my red targa for the past 9 years and driven it for less than 1000 miles per year. It Currenly has 61000 ORIGINAL miles, and I mean O R I G I N A L for both drivetrain and body. I do have some mechanical records, though not all of them, and a CarFax report from when I bought it. Mechanically, I'd give it a 10/10 (passed california emisions test with impressive numbers last month). Paint, I'd give it a 6/10 due to some fading of the driver's side fender and passanger door. Also, last time I took it in to the detail shop, they gave it back to me with a small area where the paint had just 'lifted with the buffer'.
The targa top is one year old, but they did a less than acceptable job putting it together and it leaks air and watter. The interior is in awesome shape, though the dash is in less than good condition.
I think $15,500 is a very fair price to ask for it because it is in overall great ORIGINAl condition. Untouched Engine, and no modifications (other than a CD/MP3 player and an alarm).
