I don;t know if anyone has a solution to this, but the passenger door on my 2000 carrera convertible is having problems. When you open the door the window is supposed to drop 1/4" to clear the roof. It is not doing that and as a result i am unable to close the door. The alarm will not set as it thinks the door has not opened. Trying to figure it out.... Any suggestions would be helpful

 

There is a microswitch in the door that drops the window, sounds like it needs to be replaced.
