Porker 996 C4 cabrio (2000), whilst driving at high speed in the pouring rain with my wipers on full speed - the drivers side windscreen wiper slipped for some reason and came off the windsreen (still connnected and trying to rotate) and was resting on top of the drivers door mirror - very scary! Has this happened to anyone else in the past???

It also made a nasty gouge in the roof pillar paintwork.

 

Sounds like it was not fully seated. Maybe never got fully seated at last wiper changeout? [sm=oopssign.gif]
