I could not find a 'brake' section in the forums, so I thought I'd ask here. Has anyone tried Akebono ceramic pads? Tirerack has them for $89 front (axle) and $107 rear. Mine need replacing bad. 2001 911 C4.

 

Hi I have heard of them, but do not have personal experience. Lots of good claims. I can recommend EBC Pads and when installed with Stainless Steel Braided Hoses, have transvformed the Braking on my 996 Carrera 2 (With a few performance mods)
