I have been experiencing for a while a kind of exhaust explosions when I make sudden accelaration from iddle to 3000-3500 RPMs an when decreasing the speed to stop when driving any idea of what may be the cullprit?

Sounds like a fueling issue causing some lean pop. Could also be caused by an intake or exhaust leak. I would have your mechanic take a look at it.
