Greetings from Vancouver B.C.
Newbie from Canada saying hello! I stumbled into this forum and found quite a few interesting categories for discussions about Porsches. I currently own a 1984 Carrera coupe andthis is the only forum I have registered on that is not a sports mb,so I am looking forward to posting with other enthuiasts that share the same love as I do for our cars.
Cheers!

VJ911,
My brother owned the car before me. I was with him though when he bought it, and it was at a local non branded independent car lot. He owned it for @ 2 years, but never drove it, so he decided to sell. I owned a Corvette at the time, but always coveted his 911 so I bought it. I've had it now for @ 3 years, and it still runs (looks) perfect at 108,000 miles.
Sorry for the slow response,
Kevin
P.S. I took a few quick photos this morning. (Not bad for a 9 year old car)

Hey Kevin, it does look good for 108,000 miles!
I had mine since 2000, I am the 3rd owner. She has aprox the same mileage as yours. Here are the most recent pics I have from 2006.

I had a boss once that had a red 911 like yours, but I believe it was a 89 model, which is when I decided that someday I would own a 911. He also had a 993 (can't remember what year) that he let me drive on a @ a 20 mile trip. What a rush! Your seats still look perfect for a 24 year old car! Did you have them replaced, or recovered? I also love the Carrera decal on the side of that vintage.

I would like to one day upgrade to a 993...those models seem to have a strong resale value over most other Porsches. My seats are original, most of the 175k kms on the car were highway driven. It was a very well looked after car before I bought it. I am looking for a duck tail decklid, i really like the look of it over the whale!
