i recently road in a friends 944 N/A and since have been hooked, i am only 17 but will be 18 in Feb and am kinda looking for an early Christmas/ Birthday present, a 944, the problem, i'm poor as dirt, well really not that bad just i dont have a 1000 to drop on a car, my first car that i bout in may 06 is a 89 saab 900S for 200 from a friend of mine, it wasnt running and i wanted a summer project and could not afford the 80's porsche or BMW 3 series i relly wanted and it was cheap so i got it and have since put in about 500 not including tires (400 ) it hurt pretty bad to spend that much but the car blue books for anywhere from 900-1200 not bad at all i would say but alas it is not yet running, its just too rich, i cant figure it out, but i think it will soon be working, i have joined this forums with the sole purpose of attaining a project 944 preferably S model but unlikely for cheap and rebuilding it to be MINE i really hope it works because i love these cars, handling, acceleration, deceleration, appearance (esp the back seat, i dont know why but i love it) if anyone could give me advice on the best way to do it i would gladly do a little dance for you
