Im interested in purchasing a 944 and thought this would be a good source of info...thanks in <FONT face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">advance</FONT>

awsome dicision go with the 944 it was porsches attempt at an economy car but it still has the heart of a porche<img border="0" src=smileys/smiley10.gif border="0"> do it totaly

I owned several 944s before. Despite all the rumors, it was one of the least expensive cars for repairs. My neighbor's 89 Toyota Celica was more expensive to work on than my 944 (for break jobs). It has a great get up and go and if you maintain it regularly, it gets great gas mileage. I would go for it, if I were you.
