Just joined and looking for a project
Hi Everyone,
Currently I drive an AWD Turbocharged liquid cooled flat engine - but it is a turbo 4, made in Indiana by a Japanese company, a 2005 Legacy GT. I could easily mod it to be very fast, but it is my daily driver, I like it to be reliable and no matter what I do to the car it will not be a sports car. The car is great for a sedan but I have wanted a Porsche 911 since I was about 5 years old. My uncle owned a few 914s back in the day and that made me want a Porsche too. Almost 23 years later, and I still want one. I recently cleared out my garage and have some room to start playing with another vehicle.
So my intentions are to buy either a 3.0L or 3.2L 911 to drive and wrench on. Joined the forum to learn more about 911's and see what sort of pitfalls I can avoid.
