Just ordered a 2009 911 C2S
Have received a call today from the Porsche dealer here in Dubaito request I confirm the spec of a 2009 model C2S which will be built in July this year.
Other than the change in the lights that everyone knows about from spy pics from the web; she ran off the vehicle updates as she'd been informed by Germany.
I'd ordered the PDK gearbox but she couldn't confirm if it was going to be 6 or 7 speed
No info on whether there's a hike in HP
The telephone module is coming with bluetooth
The sports exhaust tail pipes have been altered to some figure of 8 configuration which I can't work out what she was on about
There will be an I-Pod interface kit (so the CD changer came out of the parts bin)
The other bits she mentioned which don't apply to the spec I've ordered include:
Heated steering wheel
Vented seats of some kind but not on the sports seats
4 additional paint colours or variants of the existing range
Considering how much I'm spending on the car; Porsche could only advise these bits and insisted I confirm the spec today even though they could not advise on the cost of any of these bits...... I confirmed the order anyway.
But it's refreshing to know that it's not just in the Middle East you can guarantee crap service; Germany are dishing it out too!
