My horn or (alarm when parked) keeps going off for no reason. Sometimes when I go over speedbumps my horn goes off. This weekend my neighbors told me that my alarm was going off all weekend until my battery went dead. Anyone have any idea what it might be?

Had a similar problem with the alarm on my 99 boxster. It almost beat me and then I worked out it was due to having changed the stereo, have you changed the stereo?

If it is a boxster or a 996, it is usually due to the bushings on the horn plate wearing out and allowing contact. Replace the 4 bushings, and it will stop.
