Default #9 fuse keeps blowing

Really hope someone can help. My son bought a pre1985.5 Porsche 944 (his first car). At the moment none of the lights, except the headlight, work on the driver side because it keeps blowing the number 9 fuse as soon as we turn the key. We disconnected all the lights and turn signals and everything else that is suppossed to be affected by that fuse and it still blows the fuse. What else could possibly be the problem? My son is really upset only had the car a week and a half. Thanks for any advice.

Outside mirror control is also on that circuit. I bet you have a split wire in the harness where it goes into the door (flex joint)
